The Enders Speed razor has always caught my eye when I see it in SOTD pics so I had been wanting to try one for a while. I have been put off by the lack of blades however since this razor takes a proprietary type that hasn't been made in a long time. There are occasionally NOS blades that pop up on eBay but they are expensive. I am also aware that there are ways to wedge an injector blade together with a dulled Enders blade into the head but I wasn't interested in that approach. When I heard about this solution I was immediately intrigued. The adapter works perfectly, fitting snugly into the head while holding an injector blade in place. I don't know what this razor is supposed to feel like with its normal, proprietary blade but, with this adapter, it is hyper-efficient. It is the most aggressive razor I own and I absolutely love how it shaves. I have been using a Supply Black Label blade and getting flawless BBS shaves. Even the almost impossible areas under my jawline are rendered entirely smooth. The shave also lasts well beyond 24 hours. The only negative I could see is if someone doesn't like this level of efficiency. I don't think I would want to use this every day because it would be overkill. I'm normally an every other day shaver and this is perfect for those 2+ day shaves. I am really glad that this option exists and provides me the opportunity to use this excellent vintage razor.
