G8 by Frank Shaving Synthetic Shave Brush Knot

We used to call this knot the Max Backbone.  We came to realize that it had more backbone than wanted by most and now set it differently.  Raising the loft by 3mm transformed this knot into a knot made from the newest super fibers at a reasonable price.  

The latest synthetic shave brush knots are noticeably better than earlier ones.  This knot has the most backbone of the premium synthetic knots we carry.  There is a small amount of trade off with fiber tip softness to achieve this level of backbone.  That said, the tips are much softer that anything on the market we know of with this level of backbone.  This is the least expensive premium knot we offer, which is available in fan and bulb versions.
