Synthetic knots evolve. The XTC has fibers that are similar or the same as the Evo 2 and the Oumo G5. This knot is a Lansky S16. I tested against the only badger that has completely impressed me. This knot matches its performance in every way, notably, extremely soft tips and very good backbone. I personally like this knot better than the Lanksy G5C. Those with brushes having the Lansky G5C that don't want more backbone should stick with that one.
